The Executive Board of the Association of Croatian Innovators at its 6th electronic session held from December 2 to December 10, 2020, based on the proposal of the Jury for the selection of Innovation of the Year 2019, adopted the Decision on awarding the Award of the Association of Innovators of Croatia for Innovation of the Year 2019 to TEHNIX d.o.o. from Donji Kraljevec for innovation EKOMUNAL TEHNIX – special municipal vehicles for collection and removal of municipal waste. Based on the public call published by the Association of Innovators of Croatia on July 17, 2020, and for the selection of Innovations of the Year 2019, the Jury established based on the received proposals that 16 innovations arrived within the prescribed deadline. According to the criteria set by the Ordinance on the award of the annual award “Innovation of the Year” from July 4, 2017, a total of 16 applications were evaluated – innovation. The three innovations with the highest total number of points were additionally discussed during the session, and after the discussion a proposal was made to declare the Innovation of the Year 2019 innovation EKOMUNAL TEHNIX – special municipal vehicles for collection and disposal of municipal waste. The jury is of the opinion that for the Innovation of the Year, the Executive Board of the Croatian Association of Innovators is proposed to adopt the Decision on awarding the Innovation of the Year 2019 to TEHNIX d.o.o. for innovation EKOMUNAL TEHNIX – special municipal vehicles for collection and disposal of municipal waste.
