Msgr. Bože Radoš and Fr. Tomislav Glavnik visited the Tehnix company in Donji Kraljevac

Msgr. Bože Radoš, president of Croatian Caritas, and Fr. Tomislav Glavnik, director of Croatian Caritas, held a working meeting on Thursday, September 15, with representatives of the company Tehnix from Donji Kraljevac headed by its owner, Mr. Đuro Horvat, in order to confirm and strengthen the good cooperation so far.
After the Petrin earthquake on December 29, 2020, the Tehnix company responded to the urgent call of Croatian Caritas and in record time built 200 housing modules for the earthquake-affected area of Sisak-Moslavina County. Housing modules were financed from the emergency appeal of Caritas Internationalis and the national appeal with the help of donations from companies and individuals from Croatia and abroad, as well as monetary gifts from Croatian Catholic missions.
On a weekly basis, Croatian Caritas contacts victims housed in housing modules and tries to provide them with support in their living situations, not ignoring the fact that they will have to spend another winter outside their homes, which are awaiting reconstruction.
In order to ensure the best possible conditions for further stay in the residential modules, Croatian Caritas and the Tehnix company have agreed on more intensive cooperation, and in the following weeks, in accordance with the needs of the users, they will carry out an additional autumn inspection of the residential modules and in this way express their readiness to be at the service of the people who live in them.
On this occasion, Msgr. Bože Radoš and Fr. Tomislav Glavnik once again expressed their gratitude to the director of the company, Mr. Horvat, as well as to all the employees of the Tehnix company, who work dedicatedly on the Croatian Caritas project, showing openness and responsiveness to the needs of the victims of the earthquake in Banovina.
