SORTING PLANT MIHAČEVA DRAGA RIJEKA

Tehnix d.o.o. signed on Friday, February 12, 2021, at 12.00, in the City Hall of the City of Rijeka, Korzo 16 / ground floor, the Contract for the construction and equipping of a plant for sorting separately collected waste (sorting plant) in Mihačeva Draga.

 

The contract was signed by the Mayor of Rijeka Vojko Obersnel and the Director of Tehnix d.o.o Đuro Horvat on behalf of the consortium Tehnix d.o.o and GP Krk.

 

The signing of the Agreement was also attended by Deputy Mayors Marko Filipović and Nikola Ivaniš, Head of the Communal System Department of the City of Rijeka Irena Miličević, Head of the Public Procurement Department of the City of Rijeka Nada Gunjača, Director of KD Čistoća d.o.o Jasna Kukuljan and Deputy Director of Tehnix d.o.o Željko Horvat.

 

The plant for sorting separately collected waste (sorting plant) within the recycling yard Mihačeva Draga will be built on a total area of ​​5,636 m2, and will include the construction of a sorting hall, canopy for disposal of baled recycling material, weighing plant and covered parking.

The total price of all contracted works is 33,568,157.43 kuna with VAT, the introduction of the contractor is planned for the end of February, while the planned deadline for completion of works is 12 months.

 

The project of building a sorting plant continues to invest in the waste collection and management system. The technological process of the plant includes the reception, drying, sorting, baling, technological separation of unused material and recycling of raw materials that can be valued on the market, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and environmental protection.

 

The project is co-financed from the European Structural and Investment Funds – European Regional Development Fund – Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion 2014-2020.
