Sorting Plant Novalja

Yesterday in Novalja, the Deputy President of Tehnix, Mr. Željko Horvat, attended the grand opening of Tehnix’s plant for sorting separately collected waste paper, cardboard, metal, plastic and other materials. The sorting plant, along with the mayor Ivan Dabo and the director of the company Arburoža d.o.o. Ivica Peranić, opened by the Director of the Directorate for Environmental Impact Assessment and Sustainable Waste Management of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Ms. Anamarija Matak. The construction and equipping of facilities for sorting separately collected municipal waste (waste paper, cardboard) and recyclable waste (waste plastics, metals and textiles) contributed to the overall improvement of life in the City of Novalja, especially in the location Zrće Bay – Caska, given that the view of this area is largely damaged by the remains of waste bags, etc. The construction of this plant has contributed to meeting national and EU standards. Construction of a plant for sorting separately collected waste was carried out within the Project “Construction and equipping of a plant for sorting separately collected waste paper, cardboard, metal, plastic and other materials – City of Novalja”, project KK.06.3.1.12.0020, co-financed by European Union from the Cohesion Fund and the OP Competitiveness and Cohesion Program 2014-2020 – Environmental protection and resource sustainability, all based on the call for proposals “Construction and / or equipping of a plant for sorting separately collected waste paper, cardboard, metals, plastics and other materials “.
