The company Tehnix has developed and produces innovative, functional and sustainable technological solutions for municipal waste management, because waste recycling is a fundamental determinant for sustainable development. We are witnessing major climate changes that are a consequence of the contemporary unsustainable way of life of citizens, primarily in developed countries, but also in less developed ones due to the lack of funds for essential life needs, while investing in environmental protection is at the bottom of the priority list. Long time ago, the founder, owner and CEO of the company Tehnix, Mr. Đuro Horvat, innovator, inventor and founder of technology for circular waste management, said that waste is not garbage, but contrary, waste is an economic resource from which new raw materials can be drawn to create new values. By using modern technologies for circular and sustainable management of municipal waste, we can realize economic, ecological and development potentials, achieve the desired circular economy and thus take care of planet Earth for future generations. An excellent example of such sustainable waste management is the utility company Regional Landfill in Pirot, to which the company Tehnix delivered, installed and put into operation a plant for sorting municipal waste. It is a modern plant that turns municipal waste into an economic resource, sorting the waste into useful fractions that can be reused for the production of new products. That it really is an advanced, innovative and functional plant is proven by the visits and interest of many delegations to the sorting plant in Pirot, and it is a great honor that the representatives of Albania, Sweden and Macedonia laud the durability and functionality of the plant. Finally, we believe that we are all aware that nothing on planet Earth is permanent and inexhaustible, therefore in this context we must urgently, permanently and sustainably approach solving the problem of waste management due to the fact that nature and ecology have no limits.
