Representatives of the Tehnix company were yesterday at the final conference of the project “Construction and equipping of a facility for sorting separately collected waste in the City of Bjelovar”. The project was co-financed by the European Union from the European Structural and Investment Funds, Operational Program “Competitiveness and Cohesion”. The company Tehnix equipped the plant for sorting municipal waste with the most modern technology, which achieves the highest level of waste recycling, the lowest percentage of landfilling and the goals of a circular economy that significantly contributes to the sustainable development of the planet Earth as a common home. Thanks to such technology, the City of Bjelovar is the first city in the Republic of Croatia that has the technological ability to recycle municipal waste according to its use values, which means obtaining high-quality clean raw materials for the market, production of organic fertilizer for eco-agriculture, and production of RDF fuel from residual fuel waste. Economy, efficiency, durability, functionality and environmental friendliness in one place.
