The company Tehnix was a golden sponsor, exhibitor and presenter at the IV. International conference “Water in Sensitive and Protected Areas”, which was held in Pula from 10th to 13th April 2024 year. The organizer of the conference was the Croatian Water Pollution Control Society (HDZV) and the European Water Association (EWA), with the support of all public Croatian universities, the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Croatian Academy of Engineering, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of the Republic of Croatia, Ministry of Spatial Planning, Construction and State Property, Ministry of Agriculture, Croatian Waters, Istra County, City of Pula and numerous others. The company Tehnix presented two topics, the biorotor as the best solution for municipal water treatment in small settlements in sensitive and protected areas, but an equally important theme was the composting of sludge from municipal waste water treatment devices, for which Ms. Mura Horvat, mach.eng.mech., received recognition – the best presentation award for young professionals under age of 30. The goal of this conference was to contribute to the advancement of scientific and professional knowledge directed towards innovative and reliable solutions for water management and protection, and to change the legal framework related to sensitive and protected areas. The company Tehnix once again proved its knowledge and skills as well as the power of its own innovative solutions.
