A double rotor sieve (separate rotor) is a special device for separating small and non-recyclable material from municipal waste. There are several technological actions in the technological process of separation:
• Extraction of small items and non-recyclable material from waste
• Waste drying
• Dusting of waste with a ventilation system

    This combination does not exist.

The waste is separated by rotating the perforated drum. The first half of the drum contains a round perforation, while the second half contains a rectangular perforation. The drum is inclined at a slope of 3° towards the exit so that the material can flow more easily through the sieve. Also, inside the drum there is a spiral that, by rotating the drum, directs the material towards the exit. At the beginning of the sifting drum there are spikes for additional tearing of bags and/or boxes and scattering of municipal waste contents. Under the drum there is a chamber with a screw conveyor installed to receive the sifted fractions. The screw conveyor transports the separated fractions to the outlet at the bottom of the device. During the sieving process, dust particles rise into the air. In order to clean the air, the roto screen is connected to the filter station via ventilation pipes. The rotary sieve is placed on a metal frame, so that a container for receiving the separated fractions or a conveyor that takes the separated fractions to the desired location can be placed under the sieve.
