The City of Koprivnica was as a part of measure 7.4.1. Rural Development Program approved funds for the construction and equipping of a kindergarten in the suburban settlement of Starigrad. The project was planned to build a kindergarten with a gross area of 453.60 m2, fully adapted to accommodate 3 kindergarten educational groups. The goal of the project is to raise the educational capacities and standards of the rural area, and thus the development of social life in the Koprivnica settlement of Starigrad through the construction and complete equipping of kindergarten.
The company Tehnix in cooperation with the construction company Bistra d.o.o. completed the planned modular building of the kindergarten with floor plan dimensions of 26.75×23.50 m indoor and outdoor. The built modular building is a detached building connected to the communal infrastructure, equipped with plumbing, drainage, electrical installations of high and low current, telecommunications installation, heating and cooling installation and fire alarm system.
On 26/11/2020 the handover of the facility, which meets the basic requirements for the building in terms of mechanical resistance and stability, fire safety, hygiene, health and environment, safety and accessibility during use, noise protection, energy management and heat conservation, was successfully completed. The facility has been built to its final and functional readiness and is ready to receive and accommodate children. The construction of the Starigrad kindergarten is co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development within the Rural Development Program and measure 7.4.1. “Investing in the launch, improvement or expansion of local basic services for the rural population, including leisure and cultural activities and related infrastructure.”
