As part of the project “Procurement of municipal vehicles for separate waste collection in the city of Koprivnica”, the company Tehnix today made an official handover and presentation of two special municipal vehicles EKOMUNAL Tehnix with a capacity of 16 m3. The ceremony was held on the Day of Komunalac in the yard of the Administrative Building of Komunalac, Mosna ulica 15, starting at 11.00. On behalf of Tehnix, the President Mr. Đuro Horvat and his Deputy Mr. Željko Horvat were present, while the client was attended by Mr. Mišel Jakšić, the Mayor of Koprivnica and Mrs. Nataša Tetec, President of the Management Board of Komunalac with associates. The total value of the project “Procurement of municipal vehicles for separate waste collection in the city of Koprivnica” is 2,625,610 HRK, of which Komunalac will receive a non-refundable 1,480,000 HRK, which is the highest possible amount of co-financing the total eligible project costs. The project is co-financed from the European Structural and Investment Funds, from the Operational Program ‘Competitiveness and Cohesion’. Municipal vehicles for separate waste collection will be used for the removal of paper, plastic and biodegradable waste from the doorstep in the city of Koprivnica and all eight municipalities included in the service area of Komunalac.
